My mission

I help organizations to innovate faster by providing Cloud Native environments for their applications

My offer

I focus on the following activities:

  • Specialized projects involving creating or improving environments built on cloud and containers
  • Dedicated workshops on a particular technology (see below) and the best practices around it
  • Effective troubleshooting and quick improvement sessions

Projects I prefer

  • Innovative
  • Cooperation with people focused on solving real problems and defined vision
  • Short-term (1-3 months) troubleshoot and improvement
  • Mid-term (6-24 months) implementation of containerized environment

Projects I’m not interested in

  • Anything that draws people into financial debts or is nonethical in some way (e.g. gambling)
  • Support or maintenance of existing product, project
  • Projects requiring mostly meetings than actually delivering value
  • Projects requiring 100% on-site presence or permanent relocation (I live in Poland)
  • Long-term (>24 months)

Trust me - I’m a multi-certified expert

My badges - photo taken during AWS re:Invent shortly after I passed my Professional exam

For many years I’ve been developing my skill and often I sat an exam to test my knowledge. Now I own many certifications, of which I’m most proud of the following:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional and Associate
  • AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty
  • Red Hat Certified Architect (RHCA)
  • Certified Jenkins Engineer
  • and many more (check my LinkedIn profile)

Fields of expertise

My work revolves around cloud and containers environments and that’s where I put my skills to use.

Cloud and Software Defined Infrastructure (Infrastructure as Code)

I love to automate processes of creating and maintaining even the most complex environments using code. I craft them mostly on public cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) with my passion for automation, knowledge on infrastructure components and innate persistence.

Not everything can be put in serverless functions and pure VM is becoming not flexible enough for modern applications. I help to leverage container technology using Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift and the best tools from Cloud Native Landscape.

Continuous Deployment Pipelines

Many people write or talk about Continuous Deployment, but a few do. I help those who want to leverage pipelines and improve software quality with automatic deployment on multiple complex, but managable and consistent environments.

Here’s a short list of my favourite tools and technologies:

  • Kubernetes and OpenShift
  • AWS (my preferable cloud platform), Azure
  • Terraform, Ansible, AWS CloudFormation
  • Git, Jenkins Vagrant, Docker, Packer, Test-Kitchen, InSpec, Bats
  • Python, Shell (bash)
  • Grafana, Prometheus, Telegraf, Zabbix, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Fluentd, Kibana
  • Linux distributions: Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu
